Fall Inspiration

Hello lovelies, I'm making just a little inspo post for my fall inspirations. I'm going to do a much bigger one for winter, but since it's already half way through October this post will be shorter.

Starting with the top row, which are accessories I'm obsessing over right now. The first picture are clear PVC rain boots that I'm dying to buy, but I can't find any in my size. I love the clear PVC because you can wear cute socks with them and show them off. I do think it would be a little hard to style them if you don't know how to style anything properly.

The next is a collection of dark, round sunglasses all from Tobi. You should really check out their website because all of their clothing and accessories are hella cute. I've always been into the big, round sunglasses and whenever I'm in NY i have to go to Canal st. and buy like 10 new pairs of sunglasses. (I have so many in my room it's ridiculous)

Then I just found this cute picture of a bunch of braided leather bracelets on Pinterest and you can find them anywhere or make them yourself. Martha Stewart has a link on her website. They're super easy to make and so adorable, I'm just in love with cute little bits of leather, especially in the fall because of the natural colors but you can always use brighter colors for a little pop.

The second row are the trends this fall I'm loving the most. The layering in the first picture (all 3 in this row were found on Pinterest) is perfect for when it's getting colder, more toward winter. An edgy leather jacket with studs on the lapels over a band tee is something I do at least 3 times a month.

The next is an entire set I found on Pinterest with layering a thrifted sweater over light washed and distressed jeans and a cardigan. I love the neutral colors here, and the saddle bag paired with the outfit. I wouldn't wear those sandals with this outfit, probably ankle booties with no heel or loafers.

I love mixing sweaters and skirts, and adding tights is perfect for the cold weather. I don't usually wear skirts that often, (more of a jeans or shorts kind of person) but I love the big belt accent and the shoes in this outfit. I think if I wore this I would put my hair in a ponytail and curl it to give it volume.

The last row are my top 3 fall snacks. The first is a very simple recipe for grilled zucchini nachos from two peas and their pod. I'm always on their website for new, healthy recipes. This is so simple and so delicious, even if zucchini isn't in season, you can still get them and even use a panini press to make these indoors instead of using a grill.

Next are macaroons that I've made using Martha Stewarts French macaroon recipe. The are a bit sweet, so I usually eat them with a cup of strong coffee to balance it out.

Last is my favorite Starbucks order, a venti salted caramel latte. When I first tried it, I was so amazed. I love sweet and salty flavor combos, so this drink is perfect for anyone that likes it too. I've had almost every drink from Starbucks, and this is definitely my favorite. If you want it to have a nice fall flavor, add a pump of chai or honey to it or sprinkle nutmeg on top after you get it. Every Starbucks I've been to has had cinnamon, nutmeg, and vanilla powder by the napkins and stir sticks.

So those are my basic fall inspirations! Neutral colors, simple layering, leather accents, and big, round sunnies. I hope you all like these trends as much as I do.
